getting back to seoul now at 6~ still need to get home then take the baby to the vet then decide if we have enough energy for haircuts~~
it was nice to see our friend’s mom and a lot of our other friends joining too. we bowed to his parents and grandma and wished them a happy new year~ his mom and sister teared up a few times. i cant imagine how hard it is for them. our friends were real...

boy’s off for the new year holiday so in the morning we’re setting off to meet our late friend’s parents and i think visit his burial site-tree. we’ll be spending most of the day with them~~
then we’re coming back in the afternoon and plan to take our new furry-baby-friend to the vet’s~~ the first time with boy so hopefully he’ll make sense of whatever...

the day was just great~~ yes started awkward but we had some laughs and i got to help a lot. and talked with his aunt and her family when they got there.

there was an announcement earlier but i didnt take it as anything as they’re usually about cars that need to be moved but apparently it must have been talking about the water being shut off. so yeah… another message just came up saying something like ‘until 7’ so i think at 7...

i cant think so i think i’ll work on it tomorrow. my self-set deadline will be to turn it in by saturday. should be long enough.
in other news~ i made mashed potatoes and boiled chicken today… i also put away the laundry and brushed my furry friends…

i signed my contract today~~ i got all my papers this saturday and got to go to my school to sign today~~ so happy and relieved.
i now just need to go back to immigration and change my visa… once again… X-D. but first i need to get my card back.

boy and i had a lovely date today~~ i’ve missed him since he’s started work. he goes to work from 10-9 and gets home by 10. so if he can come over then our nights are filled with watching tv and sleeping. no real opportunity to go out and have fun~~ so when he told me he had this saturday and sunday off i was sooo excited.

we’re having a party at our house for boy’s friends this weekend. should be fun! i’m excited but nervous because so many people are coming and the noise level can get up to rowdy. last time (the first day we moved in…) the guard came up to tell us to keep it down… oops.

I passed my 2nd assignment with 18/20 points and will continue on to the next lesson. there are 5 lessons to complete in this course and so that puts me at the half-way mark~~
Let’s hope they don’t get much harder than this.

i got up this morning set on getting my ID card back with my new visa in tact and i arrive at the office to find that my school and company have yet to cut my visa and report that i’m not working for them. the official told me that they called my coteacher, school and manager over 30 times and they hadnt picked up. when they finally did they said theyd get it done… but it hadnt been...

The house is pretty much spotless. Since we live near the subway station, there tends to be lots of dust around so I have to take time every other day to clean. I wash the dishes...

so during this time off I’m working on my TEFL certification. Monday I sent in my first assignment, definitely expecting it to be a flop and sent back to be redone…

i got it back this morning with a PASS!!
yay! i got an 18.5 out of 20 points. woot~~

first meal of the year in korea~ chinese food. lol
boy is back to working for this week at his old part time job at the chinese restaurant so i decided to go have some lunch there.
it’ll be good that he’s working so he can have a little money to play with before he can play no longer after he starts working in march~~ lol

it’s pretty nice and this is just my 2nd time being in one in my 2.5 years of being here.
if i can get over my fear of being naked then maybe i’ll get in a pool soon and come here more often~~

Sunday was Christmas~
For Christmas, I woke up next to my boy. not feeling too homesick and prepared for a nice day. I started the morning by making my first batch of chocolate chip muffins them getting ready to go out.
